Like the “Products” section of “Manage Products” this section will be automatically updated via the “Get Product API”, however the information shown and editable here refers to how filters in effect on your Ecommerce page affect individual products. For more information, see Group Filter Types.
“Product Filter Item Maintenance”, here you are able to filter down the product you wish to look at by entering a products codes or a portion of a group of products code, you are also able to search by adding in Keywords from products descriptions.
To view an item’s filters, select “View Filter Items” on the right hand side of the product table.
This takes you to “Product Filter Item Maintenance for”, for the item you have selected, here you are able to edit, view or delete the filter currently affecting the product, you are also able to add new filter to the product.
To add a filter to a product, press the New button found on the left hand side of the page
In “Create product filter item” you will be able to select a new filter type and sub group from a set of drop down menus, your item will be added to these filters.
Once you have refined the new filter details press create, you will be taken back to “Product Filter Item Maintenance For”, you will be able to see the new filter in place in the table, this will now be in effect on your Item.
WARNING: As mentioned, any filters added this way will be over written next time the products are updated from the ERP system.
