“Carrier” is where you can enter the basic details for the delivery couriers you will be using; you will need at least one carrier inputted to be able to define your “Delivery Charges”. You are also able to set tracking URLs for the carriers and cut off for despatch times.
At least one carrier must be configured on ODSNet.
All Delivery services are linked to a carrier.
One site can have multiple carriers. E.g. it might be that different geographic locations are serviced by different carriers.
Carrier Name: Name used to recognise the carrier on the other configuration screens
Tracking URL: Link to the carriers tracking page. Used if tracking ID's are captured in the ERP
Cut off Despatch time: Used to calculate delivery time. If the Order is entered after this time, an extra day is added. See also Service Delivery Days, Service Cut off time and Delivery Weekend Holidays.
Is Carrier Own Transport: Only select this if you have your own vehicles and like to use the route planning feature, see Areas.
