Admin > Pricing and Promotions > Promotions


Promotions are setup in 3 levels,


1) Promotions Header

Promotions ID, valid period


2) Qualifying Criteria. 

Which Product or Combination of Products to buy to qualify for the Promotions, and which customers the promotion is valid for. 


Promotion Types: 

  • Product - select a product, or products. Useful if the promotion is only valid for a few product codes. 
  • Promotion Category - predefined list of products, see Admin > Pricing and Promotions > Promotion Groups. 
  • Qualifying list - used when the customer must order a combination of products to qualify for the promotion. E.g. Order 1 from a list of Fridges, and 1 from a list of Microwaves. To define a Qualifying list: Admin > Pricing and Promotion > Promotion List, select Qualifying List. 
  • All Products - the promotion applies to all products


3) The Offer - Offer Types

The Promotional Offer, the discount to received, a list of products offered free or to a reduced price.


Offer Types:

  • Special Price – specific pricing based on quantity breaks.  Only valid for line level promotion
  • Discount % - applies a percentage discount based on quantity breaks. Line or Order level
  • Product Offer – receive One free or discounted product.
  • Option List – A choice of products (multiple products) that you can receive for free or at a reduced price. To define an Option list: Admin > Pricing and Promotion > Promotion List, select Option List. 
  • Order QTY Price list – promotional price lists. Specific price based on total Order Quantity


Promotion Criteria - Other configurations

  • Description:  This description will appear on product details page. 
  • Free Shipping Promotion: Customer gets free shipping ( Yes / No) if the qualifying criteria are met
  • Voucher Promotion: Voucher required ( Yes / No) , see Voucher promotion
  • Cal. qty order or Line Level:   Line Level or Order Level promotion
  • CSS Ribbon Text: See image badge and css ribbon
  • Badge Image:  See image badge and css ribbon
  • Override Special Prices:Select Yes, if the promotion should be applied even for products with special price. 
  • Activate the promotion

To activate the promotion, you need to click on the "Update Promotion Product" button at the top of the Promotion admin page.
