Price Lists can be linked to Customer Accounts.
By Linking an account to a price list, you can have different price for different customers.
(To Check Customer account that is linked to a user, go to Users, search user and click Details)
To check what price lists are assigned to a Customer (account number)
Admin > Customer Product Price Pointer >
Enter the Customer Account in the search and click search.
This is not normally dealt with by admin, it is usually pulled from the back end systems, see API's section (coming soon).
To Add a price list to a Customer Account
Admin > Customer Product Price Pointer >
- click New.
- Search for the Account click select.
- Search for click select.
You can link multiple price lists to one customer. If one product appears on more than one price list, the price list create most recently will be used in the pricing calculation.
If an account is being manually generated for demo or similar purpose, this is the only time you should be manually generating an account and price pointer, otherwise the should come from ERM.
