IMPORTANT: Please note. The ODSNet API synchs data changes. If mass-updates are done via data base , DTW or load from XL, the normal scheduled API will not pick up the changes or new products. You will need to do a full product import, See Import All Users

How to import product data into SAP B1

Open the modules tab at the top of the page, click administration, then data Import/Export, then import form excel. This will open up a new window.

When the new window has opened, click on the drop down for "data type to import", from the list select “Items”.

This will now mean any data uploaded will be imported as product data. You will now need to assign the UDF’s (field object as they are named in the import tool) to coincide with the data columns in your import sheet.

Once you’ve done prepping your template to match your import sheet, you may want to save your template for easy re-use at another point.

Next you will need to set your import method. Option 1 "add new records and update existing records", this means that both new products and information for already stored products will be added. "Add new records without updating existing records" mean that only products that are not currently in sap will be imported and products that already exist will not have their info updated and finally "update existing records without adding new records" will only update information for existing products and not add new ones to the database.

Now you will need to select the file to upload, to select this press highlighter button for file to import.

When you have selected your import method and file to import press the import button at the bottom of the window and the data from you sheet will begin to upload.
