Introduction

A user may sometimes lock themselves out of their account, or a the account may become unaccessable due to incorrect information entered. If this occurs, and admin is able to reset the user's password from the Admin Panel.

 

Resetting a user password

  1. Log into your admin panel.
  2. Open the Sales Section, then click Users
  3. Search for the username of the user that is having an issue using the search box
  4. Press "Reset Password" on the user
  5. Type in a new password for the user. This must be different from any previous passwords a user has had. Passwords must be be typed twice for verification.

If you have reset a password for a user, please advise them to update their password to something memorable immediately.
