There may be scenarios where you wish to have it so that if a customer purchase 20 of product A,

they get each unit at a specific discounted rate, but separately customers could also purchase 10 of Product A

and 10 of product B and also get them at that same discounted rates.

In the below image, both products have been setup so once a quantity of 5 is reached they are both available for 5.95 per unit, one has been added to the basket with a quantity of 3 and the other 2 but they are able to have the quantity of 5 price.

To begin setup first you will need to create the a price list (Admin > pricing and promotions > price lists) which is setup as price type promotional

Next you will need to create new entries within the price list with the quantity breaks and the correct unit prices for each of those breaks.

Now we need to link all these products together in a in a promotion Group (Admin > Pricing and Promotions > Promotion Groups)

Finally we need to combine these with the promotion Criteria, first go to Pricing and promotions > promotions, create a new promotion header, then click into the headers criteria and create a new criteria

For this promotions criteria, you will need to set the 'Cal. qty order or Line Level' to 'Order level', for the promotion type, select promotion category from the drop down and then select the promotion category that was created, then for the offer type, set this to Order Qty Price List, then select the promotional pricelist that was created.

Once you have finished, save and run the 'update promotion product' function, then when your customer log in next they will be able to buy the product with the mixed product discount.
