Sub Category: Configuration & Config Type: PriceConfiguration

In this category, there are 12 config to manage how pricing is used and displayed.


1. Show Retail Price Without AddtoBasket: This setting is for use when it is a B2B site only.

If this option is set to true, when a users visits the site they will be presented the retail prices as shown below


If set to false no pricing will be displayed.




2. Replace Zero Prices: -- Redundant


3. Display PriceList and Sales Price labels:

a. Set the config True

If set to true true, A label highlighting the users pricing will be display, additionally when a products is part of a discount promotion on a line level, a sales price and label will be displayed below the trade pricing.



b. Set the config False

When false, the labels will not be displayed.



4. PriceList Price Label: The Label associated with the users pricing.

This can be customised so that instead of displaying 'Trade Price:' as the label 'Your Price:' could be displayed instead.


5. Sales Price Label: A label that can be displayed before a sales price.

Like the trade price label high lighted in point 4, this can be customised for your customers.

For instance, as shown below, instead of displaying 'Sales Price:' it could be shown as 'On Offer:'


6. Show RRP Price: This config allows an RRP or Recommended Retail Price price to be displayed alongside a users own pricing, this allows them to compare the price they will be paying versus what is advised to then sell onto a retail customer.


a. Set the config True

When set to true, the RRP price will display.


b. Set the config false

When set to false the RRP price will not be displayed.



7. RRP Price Label: This config allows users to change and update the RRP price label to something clearer.

For instance, as shown below, instead of 'RRP:', it could display as 'Retail:' 



8. Show POR Percentage: This config allows you to display the POR percentage.

The POR is the percentage of retail price, this allows users to see the difference between the RRP/retail price and their own pricing on a product.

a. Set the config True

When set to true it will display as shown below.


b. Set the config False

When set to false it will not be displayed




9. POR Percentage Label:  Like with the other label fields, such as for trade price, RRP, etc

the label which display before the POR percentage can be changed.

For Example, I have changed it to read as 'Difference' so that users see that it is the difference between the retail price and their own pricing.




10. Trade price list name: Here is entered the name of one of the pricelists you will be importing from your ERP system.

During a pricing import, pricing from that pricelist will be used to directly update the Trade currency price, which is held in products information. This trade price is separate from a customers trade/personal pricing.


11. Cost price list name: Here is entered the name of one of the pricelists you will be importing from your ERP system.

During a pricing import, prices from the specified pricelist will be used to directly update the Cost Price, which is held in products information. This Cost price is separate from a customers trade/personal pricing.



12. Retail price list name: Here is enter the name of one of the pricelists you will be importing from your ERP system.

During a pricing import, prices from the specified pricelist will be used to directly update the Retail Price, which is held in products information. This Retail price is separate from a customers trade/personal pricing.

The Retail Price is used when making POR pricing percentage calculations so that customers can see the difference between their own pricing and a recommended retail price..


13. Build Product Default Pricelist code: Here you can set the default price list for build products

Let's say if you want to display the default price for any build product then you have to enter that default price list code to trigger this. if you don't want to set up this then leave empty



Sub Category: Configuration & Config Type: PriceTypeSaleConfiguration

In this category, We allow the configuration of 5 different pricelist types to be displayed as either a regular (i.e trade price) or

sales price to users.

1. Special Price:

a. Set the config TrueIf set to true, if special price pricelist pricing exists for a user, it will display as if it were a sales price, for example as can be seen above.


2. Discount - Item Level:

a. Set the config TrueIf set to true, if Discount - Item Level pricelist pricing exists for a user, it will display as if it were a sales price, for example as can be seen above.


3. Discount - Specific Group:
a. Set the config True If set to true, if Discount - Item Level pricelist pricing exists for a user, it will display as if it were a sales price, for example as can be seen above.


4. Discount - Specific Manufacturer:
a. Set the config True
 If set to true, if Discount - Specific Manufacturer pricelist pricing exists for a user, it will display as if it were a sales price, for example as can be seen above.



5. Volume Price:
a. Set the config True If set to true, if Volume Price pricelist pricing exists for a user, it will display as if it were a sales price, for example as can be seen above.



Sub Category: Configuration & Config Type: CreatePriceConfiguration

In this category, there are 5 configs to set and display the price progress bar after the login page


1. No of days to purge customer price records if they did not use the system:

If no users associated with an account log in with a set number of days, we can configure a service to clear their pricing from the system, this is not deleting the price lists, their pricing will be regenerated when next they log in.

This is to allow us to save space on the server.


2. Display Progress Bar:

a. Set the config True

If set to true when Users login, while their pricing is regenerated, to allow them to access the site faster we can display this

progress bar on the home page. 

If set to false, they will be kept on the login page while the pricing regenerates.


3. Progress Bar Text: Allows users to set the text displayed on the progress bar.



4. Progress Bar Success Text: Allows users to update the text for this progress bar's success message.




5. Reload Button Text: Allows the reload buttons text to be modified.






Sub Category: Configuration & Config Type: GenericItemShouldbeFlaggedIsOnPromotion 



1. Generic Item Should be Flagged Is On Promotion (true/false): If multiple items a are linked via a generic code, one of these items is then set as a promotion item, this configuration determines whether all items should be flagged as on promotion.


If Config is set to true, all items linked via the generic code would flagged as on promotion, there is the proviso however that for this function, the item code and generic code, cannot be identical.


If set to false, only the item set to on promotion within the promotion will be flagged as a promotion item.
