Order and Header Level

This refers to whether the promotions effect will be applied to an orders lines/individual items, or whether it will be applied to the order/subtotal.


E.g, whether the promotions effect will be applied before or after going to the checkout page.


At Line level, you're able to use the following Offer types;

Promotion Type


Promotion Type refers to what will trigger the Promotion.

Product, this method allows you to set specific products which can be used to trigger the promotion


Promotion Category, the promotion will be triggered by a specified set of products which are configured in the promotions groups menu.


Qualifying list, these are lists setup with a range of trigger products, you must also set the number of matches for the list before the promotion will trigger.


All products, every products on the site will be able to trigger this promotion, sans where there are additional triggers such as a qualifying value.


Customer Type


Customer type refers to who will be eligible for the promotion.


All Customers, as the name suggests all customers will be elegible.


Specific Customer, this will allow you to set particular accounts to be elegible.

E.g Account C100 and C102 will be able to access the promotion, however C101 will not be able to.


Customer Type, this refers to ranges of customers, these can either be setup manually or can be based on a customer type imported from the ERP system.


E.g in SAP, C100 and C101 are set to customer type Bakery, if that customer type was available here, that group would be able to access the promotion.
