Promotion Header
The promotion header is the starting point of a promotion.
To begin setting one up, go to Admin > Pricing and Promotions > Promotions.
On the Promotions Screen, all current headers will be displayed.
Click New to begin setting up a new header.
Promotions Code - The identifying code for the promotion, this is limited to 10 Characters
Description - General Description of the planned promotions, i.e Clearance % discount tea.
For Date - To Date - The planned running span of the promotion, i.e 01/01/2021 - 01/12/2021
Warehouse - Leave as default.
Currency - Applicable currency for the promotion.
Once these parameters have been set, click create, they can be adjusted later by editing the promotion header.
Criteria
The next step for a promotion would be setting up the criteria, click criteria from the Promotion headers, then new on the criteria's page.
Next will be to select an offer type.
Running Promotion
Once any promotion header and criteria has been setup you must run 'Update Promotion Product' to make sure the promotion triggers correctly.
