System Configuration in E-Commerce Platform

 

Site Configuration > System Configuration > Search “User Import” > Edit

         System Configuration = False in E-Commerce Platform

 

E.g., Telesales User = False in system configuration:

1. Flag will not change from any type (Trade, Admin, Net Restricted etc.) to Telesales User.

2. Flag will change from Telesales User to any other type (Trade, Admin, Net Restricted etc.).

 

 

E.g., Telesales User = True in system configuration:

 1. Flag will change from any type (Trade, Admin, Net Restricted etc.) to Telesales User.

2. Flag will change from Telesales User to any other type (Trade, Admin, Net Restricted etc.).

 

 

                              

User Type Updated in SAP

After Import Users API is finished running, it will send an email to ‘Sales Email Address’ with the information of the new user type.

Note: To see the email address assigned to ‘Sales Email Address’ go to Admin > Site Configuration > Company Data> Edit >

E.g., Flag changed from Administrator to Trade, then the email notification would be:

"The username admin with email address admin@gmail.com is changed from Admin to Trade user."

This can be changed from: Admin > Content Management > Web Contents >Email Template > API Updated UserTypes > Edit

NOTE: Please do not change the email template without ODS confirmation.



An email will be sent:
 1. When User Flag changes successfully e.g. (Trade > Admin)

2. When User Flag failed to change e.g., Admin in E-Commerce system configuration = False, when changing (Trade > Admin) – User Flag will remain as Trade and email will be sent.

 

Note: Email will not be sent when User Flag = User Flag in E-Commerce, e.g., Trade>Trade, Administrator>Administrator, Net-Restricted > Net-Restricted, etc.

 


 

How to Test if the User Flag has Changed?

  1. Admin > Data Transfer> Monitor Data Exchange > Select ImportUsersV4 > Edit Response Message > Search For “UserTypeFlag” >

Trade = T

Administrator = A

Sales Rep = S

Retail = R

Telesales User = D

 

Note: ODS will bring Value instead of Description, e.g., UserTypeFlag = ‘B’ in data exchange means Net Restricted user coming across to the E-Commerce Platform

 

 

  1. Once ImportUsersV4 finished running, Admin > Sales > Users > Search for the User >
